Essay Topics For Dantes Inferno
Essay Topics For Dante's InfernoOne of the essay topics for students preparing for Dante's Inferno is learning about the sixteenth century. Most students do not realize that even the term 'elite' in the 16th century would have been a more European term than Latin or even French. In fact, there are a number of common phrases that we have come to recognize. Things like pietism, Pompey, and absolutism are quite common today, as are high civilizations cultures such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and England. All of these are thought to be social class societies that we think of today.Of course, even back then, nobility and royalty were not as popular among aristocrats, as it is today. Most people can trace their ancestry back three generations, so perhaps you might think of your American grandparent's being nobility. (If you cannot afford to trace your ancestry in order to determine your noble bloodline, you could try getting in touch with your great-grandparents, who may be able to he lp.)Some of the most famous aristocrats are often referred to as regals, or high feudal clans. Regals were usually higher in rank than the king, and each family was 'more' important than another. The French monarchy, the family of Napoleon, and the Spanish Aragon dynasty are all examples of regal dynasties. It is often difficult to determine today just what sort of social class characterizes a family or other group.Perhaps one of the most widely known things in Dante's Inferno is purgatory. The purgatory is where the souls of the damned are confined until the end of time when the ultimate judgment will take place. At this point, everyone will be given a 'posthumous garment' which will protect them from judgment. When Dante is on his journey, he witnesses so many good things, but he also witnesses so many bad things. His goal is to explain to humanity the difference between good and evil and to warn them about the dangers of indulging in worldly pleasures. One of the classic examples is the people of the New World. They wear costumes made of feathers and are generally considered to be hooligans, who do not care about any earthly goods. They also drink alcohol and are known for their sexual promiscuity. Some essay topics for Dante's Inferno can include many different sorts of stories. In a science fiction setting, you could write a story about a nuclear bomb or a spaceship explosion that decimated the human race. Or, you could make a story about what the earth would be like if we did not live in nuclear bombs, and who would get the blame for it.
